An elderly man living alone in Loulé was attacked and robbed by three masked intruders, who left him tied up in his garage with a plastic bag placed over his head while they rifled his home and fled with €400. The victim managed to free himself and call the police and was later treated in the town’s health centre for his injuries sustained in the assault.
