The eighties are back in Lisbon next month with the Lisbon Calling mini festival on June 9 at Pavilhão Atlântico.
For fans of the decade that brought us puff ball skirts and power ballads, the line up at Lisbon Calling will tempt you to pull on your leg warmers and blow dry your mullet as Madness, Foreigner and Carbon/Silicon take to the stage.
First up will be Carbon/Silicon, a band made up of former Clash member Mick Jones and ex-Generation X performer, Tony James, who will be giving their renditions of favourites such as Should I Stay or Should I Go and London Calling.
For the first time ever in Portugal, eighties chart toppers Foreigner will be playing live, treating fans to performances of I Want to Know Where Love Is and Cold as Ice.
The headliners of the event however, are without doubt, Ska specialists Madness who are certain to raise the roof when they play their eighties anthems Baggy Trousers and One Step Beyond.
