eight-year-old becomes youngest ‘wing-walker’

An eight-year-old boy has become the youngest person in the world to ‘wing-walk’ on a plane.

Tiger Brewer, from London, flew at 100mph at 1,000 feet over Randcomb Airfield in Gloucestershire. His grandfather Vic Norman’s biplane was used to break the world record.

His grandfather owns the SuperAeroBatics, a formation wing-walking team, meaning Tiger has experienced wing-walking from a young age.

The record was previously held by Guy Mason, the son of Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, who was aged 11 when he took to the wings of a plane in 2001.

Tiger has come from a family of dare-devils but he had to wait to wing-walk until his feet were able to touch the wings.

His grandfather, who piloted the plane, was said to feel immensely proud.
