Eight men arrested for drug trafficking in Portimão

Eight men of Portuguese and Cape-Verdean nationalities have been arrested for drug trafficking in the Algarve, “especially in the Portimão area”, the Public Prosecutor’s Office has announced.

Three of the men were arrested following a Public Prosecutor’s Office order, while the other five were caught red-handed. During the operation, authorities seized hundreds of grams of cocaine, heroin and cannabis as well as €23,000 in cash.
