During May and June five bowls clubs played in the Bowls Algarve Summer League. Alvor Bowls club were able to field two teams making six teams in total.
Each team hosted a match day at their club where all six teams competed at the same time. The final games were played at Valverde Bowls Club in Almancil. A numbeŗ of spectators were able to enjoy six excellent matches.
The league was won by Alvor Egrets with 36 points and Tavira Tigers were second with 32 points. Both teams won four out of their five matches and drew one, with Alvor having the better shot difference.
