Educational excellence at Eupheus International School

Eupheus International School strives for educational excellence and for every child to be the best that they can be.

Located in Loulé they are a Cambridge Assessment International Education accredited school. All their lessons are taught in English, focused upon the Cambridge Pathway, ensuring a Global Education. And their students, from Pre-Reception to Year 9 have timetabled Music, P.E. and Portuguese lessons, taught by specialist teachers.

In Pre-Reception and Reception, our youngest learners follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Programme with Portuguese integrated into the daily curriculum. Learning is practical, hands-on, tailored to and guided by each child’s choice and interests.

Students use their Eupheus iPads as an integral part of the learning process to aid development in all areas of the curriculum. They also have specific Digital Literacy lessons to explore 21st century technology in greater depth.

At Eupheus International School they understand the value of teaching all learners higher order skills, such as critical thinking and problem solving. This is achieved through the Cambridge Assessment International Education subject – Global Perspectives. Learnt skills are positively applied to their students’ work, life and the world around them. And their commitment to the highest quality of teaching and learning means that class sizes are small and, therefore, places are limited.

If you would like to arrange a visit or enrol your child or children into the Eupheus family, please contact the Head of School, Ms Penelope Best.
