Economy ministry hacked; no data compromised

Portugal’s ministry of economy has been the target of a cyber attack today, which affected some sites of agencies partially, says Lusa, but did not compromise any information. An official source described the incident as “a partial attack”, stressing “there is no compromise of information”. Assurances like these have been given to attacks in past which ultimately lead to the admission that information was, in fact, compromised.
