A night market with an emphasis on recycled and eco-friendly stalls and stands was held last Saturday at São Brás Museum.
Visitors to the market, organised by the Amigos of São Brás Museum, mingled with artists and artisans displaying items such as jewellery and sculptures made from reused goods and local natural materials.
Special interest was shown in UFORM, a new company to the Algarve selling solar control window film that protects the inside of buildings from solar heat and the damaging effects of UV rays. Of equal interest to Algarve residents was Refrisun’s solar heating system.
Musical entertainment was provided throughout the evening by five distinct groups concluding with Veredas Memoria, a traditional Portuguese band.
