Dear Editor,
Regrettably, Portugal will never follow such rules. It can withstand financial pressures (fines etc) by the authorities because they receive more income from the bureaucratic nonsense they apply in matriculation.
I, for one, would love to see a simplified system but not if Portugal continues with its historic bureaucratic demolition of the country by unnecessary financial pressures on the people.
