Ebola strategy

Braced for an encounter with the deadly Ebola virus, Portugal’s director general of health Francisco George says the country is prepared and has a strategy in place. Only last month, the health service was rocked by the case of a Portuguese man returning from Liberia with suspicious symptoms. It was thought this could be the country’s first case of the virus, but it ended up being a false alarm.
