A Jet Asia Airways plane carrying 66 North Americans on a humanitarian flight from Sierra Leone touched down in Lisbon on Tuesday night. None of the passengers showed any signs of having contracted the deadly Ebola virus – cutting a swathe through the West African country – and “special measures” were taken by health officials to ensure everyone on board was checked for symptoms before they disembarked.
