It hasn’t even been launched yet, but the new easyJet route linking Faro to Tengel Airport in Berlin, Germany is already being hailed as a “ticket sale success”.
Over 314 tickets have already been sold for the route’s first flight, scheduled for Tuesday, May 1.
José Lopes, easyJet’s director in Portugal, says that the airline wants to continue putting the country “on the map”.
