easyJet stop flights from East Midlands

Low cost airline easyJet is stopping all flights to and from East Midlands airport in the UK from January 6.

The decision, says an announcement on the easyJet website, was a result of commercial considerations and the airline plans to redeploy the aircraft used at the airport across its network.

All scheduled flights up to January 5 will go ahead but customers, who have booked flights after this date, will need to contact easyJet to be refunded, transfer to another flight with easyJet from another airport serviced by the company, or customers will be able to transfer onto a BMI Baby flight from East Midlands airport instead.
