An easyJet plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Faro Airport on Sunday morning after the pilot felt unwell.
A red alert situation was declared at the airport, but the plane landed safely and the pilot was taken to Faro hospital, local civil protection services said.
The plane had departed Luton (UK) and was bound for Agadir (Morocco).
