Easyjet launches new Faro-Berlin route

Flight || A new route connecting Faro to Berlin-Schönefeld Airport was officially inaugurated on June 25 by low-cost airline easyJet.
It includes two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays, departing from the German capital at 3.40pm and arriving at 6.25pm and leaving Faro at 7pm and arriving in Germany at 11.40pm.
The link is served by a 124-seated A319 aircraft and is easyJet’s first link from Faro to a German city.
According to the national airport authority ANA, easyJet is currently Faro Airport’s principal airline, accounting for 24% of its passenger traffic.
However, the new route is not the first to connect Faro to Berlin. The two cities are already linked thanks to Air Berlin, which runs four weekly flights to and from the Berlin Tegel Airport.
