easyJet commemorates sixth anniversary

LOW COST airline, easyJet, commemorates six years operating in Faro airport. Since 1999, 1,720.000 passengers have flown to or from Faro with the airline company. easyJet grows every year with new routes and frequencies – in 2004, passenger numbers at Faro airport increased 24.08 per cent. This anniversary also celebrates the launch of the new Faro-London Stansted route, the first in Portugal. Faro is one of easyJet’s main destinations in the Iberian Peninsula, with a total of seven daily flights and 46 weekly to Bristol, Nottingham East Midlands, London Luton, London Stansted and London Gatwick.
