Russia dominated last weekend’s European Cup race walking meeting in Olhão, with only the Ukraine interrupting its neighbours’ monopoly in the Junior 10km Men’s category.
For Portugal, local competitor Susana Feitor finished 15th while fellow Olhão resident Jorge Costa chose the event to announce his retirement from international competition.
