An Easter Sunday RC Mass in English will be held in Carvoeiro Church on April 4 at 4pm.
All are welcome to join this English-language Easter Sunday Mass and “celebrate the joy of the Risen Lord – particularly after the last two months of closed churches,” say organisers.
The whole Mass will be in English: the readings, the hymns as well as the Order of Mass.
“Everyone is most welcome” even if you do not normally attend this church.
Padre Nuno Coelho, the parish priest, will be the celebrant.
Covid-19 rules apply, and organisers ask attendants to bring their masks. There will be hand sanitiser at the door and distanced seating.
There will be a collection for the food bank, so a contribution with a long shelf life for families in need will be welcome.
