Carvoeiro is again holding its Easter Fair this weekend (April 17 to 20) in the town’s square.
Residents and tourists alike will be able to enjoy some real community fun in this annual event that aims to celebrate the Easter season as well as all things traditional about the Algarve.
There will be stalls selling local produce and handicrafts, photographic art, music, entertainment and surprises for children.
Graça Novo Caetano, president of Carvoeiro business association Vozes Intensas, said: “The Easter Fair has become very popular as it takes place when the village is buzzing with the first visitors of the high season. The fair will be a fun way to get involved with the local people and explore the area. There will be many surprises and Easter sweets for the children.”
