An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7 on the Richter scale shook the Algarve on Thursday last week at 3.16pm.
With an epicentre 10km north-northeast of São Brás de Alportel, the earthquake was felt with greatest intensity in the Olhão area, however reports were also received that the seismic event was felt in Faro, Tavira and Vila Real de Santo António.
There have been no reports of casualties or damage.
