Lagoa badminton star and world No68 Pedro Martins was never able to get to grips with Indonesian 13th seed Simon Santoso at the sport’s World Championships in London.
The Algarvean will have gained plenty of experience from the 21-10, 21-14 first round defeat and will return to the Wembley Arena for the Olympics next year hopefully an even better player.
