Individuals and organisations with innovative project ideas for the central Algarve, but lacking the financial means to get them off the ground, should apply for funds within the PRODER rural development programme.
A total of €2.7 million has been made available by the government to fund new projects in 2013.
Associação In Loco is now offering support to those who want to apply for PRODER funds. Councils covered by the plan are Albufeira, Faro, Loulé, São Brás de Alportel, Silves and Tavira.
Last year 55 projects were approved under the PRODER programme, representing €5.5 million worth of assistance.
