The tickets will be valid for the main grandstand on March 11 and 12 – MotoGP tests – and March 17, 18 and 19 during the Moto2 and Moto3 tests.
For the first time in 18 years, the MotoGP World Championship will start its season in Europe. The event will be held at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve between March 24 and 26.
Less than two months from the start of the 2023 calendar, the organisation has announced that the ultimate preparation tests for the longest and most desired season ever can be followed live by the fans of the championship.
All valid ticket holders for the Portuguese GP will have free access to the tests, which will be carried out in the two weeks before the start of the championship.
The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve also announced that it will “open its doors” to those who do not have a ticket for the GP by creating €10 tickets. These tickets will be valid for the main grandstand, the only one open on March 11 and 12 – MotoGP tests – and March 17, 18 and 19 during the Moto2 and Moto3 tests.
“It will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to watch live the riders that make up the championship’s 2023 squad and the technical innovations presented by the teams. For the first time, fans will witness Miguel Oliveira at the controls of the Aprilia RS-GP he will race in his fifth championship year, the first rider in the history of MotoGP to win in Portimão,” says the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in a statement.
