Dynamite Fight Night is back again this Saturday (February 22) for its 27th edition, which is expected to be one of Portugal’s biggest fighting events of the year.
Taking place at Pavilhão Arade in Lagoa at 9pm, the country’s top fighters plus a few special guests will be facing off to the delight of spectators.
The spotlights will be focusing on some select fights, like João ‘Chapa’ Silva taking on António ‘Animal’ Sousa and Miguel ‘Mr.Kick’ Varela and João ‘Bogas’ Oliveira.
Rui Breceno, known as the Messines pit-bull, will also be looking to get even with Jairon Ortega after his showdown defeat in December last year.
And while the ‘princess’ of Portuguese female kickboxing Marina Zueva will be taking on Scottish champ Helen Wilson, the real prize will go to the winner of the match between Micaela ‘Micas’ Varela and Carolina Silva, who will be fighting for the title of Portuguese champion in the 63.5kg category.
Portuguese sports channel Sport TV will be airing the fights but not live. Thus for those keen to keep up with the action, tickets can be purchased for €15.
