A 75-year-old Dutch tourist swimming in the waters of Praia Grande in Lagoa was rescued by lifeguards last week and required emergency first aid. According to a report by the Captaincy of the Port of Portimão and Lagos, the woman passed out while swimming and was found floating face down in the water. The tourist was assisted on shore by the emergency rescue team before she was transported to Portimão Hospital.
