Dutch IT giant seeks bright young Portuguese graduates

Dutch IT giant UNIT4 is preparing to invest around €40 million in a new ‘nearshore’ centre in Lisbon in March which will eventually take on 350 professionals. For now, the centre will provide 100 new jobs and the hunt is on to find the right people to fill them. According to employment website Manda-te, UNIT4 has chosen Portugal “due to the fact that Portuguese companies have the capacity to produce talent in this sector”.

Most sought-after are university graduates although the company that operates in 26 countries has not ruled out hiring recruits from other countries as its centre will be aimed towards clients throughout the world, speaking various languages.
