Albufeira’s municipal promotion agency (APAL) received around 400 travel agents from holiday company Thomas Cook from the Netherlands on December 6.
As part of their visit to Albufeira, the travel agents were given a tour of the city and shown the council’s main tourism products.
According to APAL, Thomas Cook Netherlands is one of the largest tour operators in the Dutch market, bringing around 25,000 visitors to Portugal each year, with around 19,000 visiting the Algarve.
