Albufeira’s promotional agency APAL welcomed Dutch journalists and travel agents to the council during March and April to show them its attractions as a tourism destination. The agency said: “Albufeira accounts for 40% of the total hotel offer in the region. Given the importance of the council in the Algarve tourism context, it has been our aim to support these initiatives, which will hopefully lead to recommendations abroad.” APAL hosted travel agents from successful Dutch operators Corendon and Sundio/Sudtours.
