Duarte Lima’s trial for murder further postponed as judge removed from case

The trial of former PSD MP Duarte Lima for the murder of an elderly heiress in Brazil in 2009 has been postponed yet again, due to his objection to the choice of judge, who he complained made comments against him that made it obvious he would not receive a fair trial. Mr Lima’s objection has been upheld, thus the case now has to be handed to a new judge.
