MANY PARTS of Lisbon airport were left without water for four days after a water pipe burst last Wednesday (February 20).
A spokesperson for airport management company ANA said: “Passengers have not been affected by this anomaly” as the burst pipe did not feed into any areas used by customers.
However, staff complained that they were affected by the lack of water and it hindered their ability to do their job. ANA installed portable toilets for staff and said it was making water available to all staff through different sources.
