A 36-year-old man arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking in Lagos had €15,500 in his possession when PSP police searched his home.
The PSP officers also confiscated 600 doses of hashish, six of heroin, a precision balance, various utensils used in the preparation of drugs, and an air rifle. The man had been concentrating his operations in the district of the town near Bairro Operário, 28 de Setembro and Rua da Ilha da Madeira.
A PSP spokesperson said they hope the detention would help to bring more “stability and safety” to the centre of the town.
