POLICE ARRESTED 11 people in Sagres on Saturday on suspicion of drug trafficking and seized four tonnes of hashish from their vehicles.
Ten Spanish men and one Portuguese national are being held in Portimão prison to await their court case.
The Spanish men, believed to be farmers from Cadiz, were in court on Monday for a preliminary hearing and the Portuguese man was heard in Albufeira court on the day of his arrest.
The boat, which allegedly transported the drugs to Sagres. has not been found.
