Faro PSP’s criminal investigation branch arrested 15 people this month as part of a crackdown on drug trafficking in the region.
A 36-year old man in possession of 50 doses of heroin was the latest to be apprehended on Tuesday. According to a statement from the PSP, the man is suspected of being a major drug dealer in Faro.
Portimão’s PSP branch have also arrested a 34-year old Portuguese man for possession of heroin and cocaine, while police in Olhão arrested a 32-year old Portuguese man for possession of 125 doses of heroin.
