Gaia || Fifty-three-year-old José Ferreira has been quietly driving his car to and from work, the shops and everywhere else for the last 35 years – and he has never once held a driving licence.
But “bad luck caught up with me!” He told reporters after an Operation Stop in Vila Nova de Gaia finally brought his downfall.
It wasn’t that he was doing anything wrong, either – just that his car was overdue for its MOT and then police asked for Ferreira’s documents.
The long-time offender is now due to appear in court.
