A drunk driver is in hot water after being detained twice in the space of an hour by PSP police in Lisbon. First, the 37-year-old was pulled over for being under the effects of alcohol, and told not to drive for the next 12 hours. Less than 60 minutes later he was found driving in much the same area, writes Correio da Manhã, and booked for “qualified disobedience”.
He remains at liberty, but will have to answer two charges relating to the incidents in court.
His blood alcohol level was 1.90g/l, which constitutes a crime, adds the paper.
