Docapesca, the country’s fishing port authority, has announced the start of dredging works at Faro’s docks.
The works are expected to last three months and will cost around €335,000.
The project aims to “improve navigation” and will also include the renovation of the pier used by fishermen. It is part of a larger €4.4 million investment in dredging and renovations works at Algarve docks.
