A family move into a new home to start a new life but unknown to them it was the scene of several gruesome murders.
They say that all homes have memories and the ones contained in this house would be better left forgotten.
Successful publisher Will Atenton has given up his job in New York to relocate to the idyllic house with his wife Libby and their two girls but it is not long after they begin to settle in that they find out the grizzly past of the house which was the scene of the murder of a mother and her two children.
The murders are no secret to the people of the local New England town and it is widely believed that the murders were committed by the surviving husband.
Will Atenton begins to investigate the tragedy with the help of a neighbour Ann Paterson and it is not long before the disturbing puzzle reveals itself and the past soon becomes part of the present as the inhabitants of the house find themselves the next targets on the killers hit list.
