Double celebration for Irish Association

More than 200 people came together for a gala dinner dance at the Hotel Miragem in Cascais on March 13 to mark St Patrick’s Day.

The evening, which was organised by the Irish Association, was a double celebration as the association was also marking its tenth anniversary.

The celebration dinner, accompanied by plenty of Guinness and Jameson whiskey, was launched with a toast from Ambassador James Brennan, who honoured the 10th anniversary of the association and the links between it and both the Embassy of Ireland in Portugal and the Department of Culture in Ireland.
