Don’t take the train in the heat of the day – CP appeal

As the country bakes, Comboios de Portugal has put out an appeal to passengers “not to travel in hottest hours” as conditions on board “may not be adequate”. Says the appeal: “We recommend that, whenever possible, people should undertake their journeys at the start of the morning, or at the end of the day”. Anyone wishing to change or even cancel bookings, will receive full refunds, the service guarantees.
