Father Bob Bates of Saint Vincent’s Chaplaincy and Alan Brown, a representative of the Bertie Watson Trust Fund Portugal, presented members of staff at the Lar São Vicente with cheques earlier this month to be used to purchase doors.
The specialist doors will be fitted to 18 bedrooms at the home for the mentally and physically disabled based in Albufeira.
