The Saint Andrew’s Society of the Algarve recently donated art materials to the NECI school for special needs children in Montinhos da Luz, near Lagos.
When approached by the Society for ideas of how they could help, NECI identified an urgent need for art supplies as these play a major role in helping their pupils.
With the help of NECI art teacher Lilla Radocz, the Society sourced an array of art materials for the school.
Doug McAdam, the Chieftain of the Saint Andrew’s Society of the Algarve, told the Algarve Resident: “The articles donated include canvasses of different sizes, acrylic paints, paint brushes, pens and pencils for specific use by the pupils.
“It was a joy to observe how engrossed and happy all the pupils were carrying out the various projects assigned to them”.
