A walk for dogs and their owners has been organised by Loulé Câmara for November 7, starting at the sports pavilion in Loulé at 9.30am.
The route will be along rural roads around Loulé and is to cover around five kilometres.
Money raised during the session will be donated to the Canil São Francisco de Assis kennel.
After the walk, there will be a session to discuss the dangers of the Leishmania parasite, a dangerous disease contracted by dogs and transmitted through insects.Participation in the walk is free.
