Dog attacks

A YOUNG girl from Fátima, who was viciously attacked by a Husky dog on Sunday, was rushed to hospital in Leiria. Doctors said the injury could have been much worse but she was later released.

A middle aged woman from Porto was also attacked by a dog at the weekend. She was taken to hospital after the Doberman she looked after bit her face. She spent six hours on the operating table but doctors said that her life was not at risk. Both the Doberman and the Husky were due to be put to sleep.
