The national council of FNAM, the federation of doctors, met today and announced the suspension of the strike scheduled for November 23, 24 and 25. “After careful evaluation of the current political crisis, conditioned by the non-approval of the State Budget for 2022” FNAM made the decision, stressing that “in spite of the cancellation” … “the degradation of the SNS (national health service) and working conditions of doctors continue to be a serious problem requiring urgent resolution”. The bottom line is that negotiations with any future government will be “urgent”.
