Doctor assault

A top anaesthetist was caught on camera in Russia physically assaulting a patient who had recently undergone heart surgery. Dr. Votyakov, who is seen hitting the man in the face and chest while the patient is restrained, blamed stress and fatigue caused by a 36-hour shift for the reasons behind the attack, as well as provocations from the patient, who eventually died. Now, Votyakov could face a 15-year sentence if his assault is proved to be the cause of death.
