Volunteers taking part in a harbour and beach cleanup at Baleeria near Sagres will be able to dive for free as part of the initiative.
The cleanup will be on October 8, with those taking part asked to meet at 9.30am at the Divers Cape dive centre.
All divers must be fully certified to take part but volunteers are also needed to help on the shore, and everyone will be given food and drinks at the end of the day.
