Discuss real estate opportunities with Americans in Portugal

THE AMERICANS in Portugal’s first luncheon meeting of 2006 will be held on Wednesday, January 25, at the Cascais Cultural Centre restaurant, from 12.30pm. The programme will feature a panel of three real estate professionals, who will speak about real estate realities and opportunities in Portugal.

Panel members include Martina Lennon, owner of the MAP Real Estate Agency in Cascais, David Sampson, publisher of The Portuguese Review and expert on commercial properties, and Maggi Donnelly, long-term director of housing for the US government at NATO in Portugal.

The luncheon, open to Americans, friends and guests of all nationalities, will feature a choice of three meals, either a meat dish, fisherman’s stew or vegetarian selection.

Reservations are necessary and may be made by e-mailing Don David Price, director of Americans in Portugal, at [email protected] or by calling 214 862 012. The cost of the meal is 20 euros per person, payable in cash at the door, and deadline for reservations is noon, Monday, January 23. A large turnout is expected, so early reservations are suggested.
