Guest speaker Michael Harris will be giving a talk entitled Invasions of armies and ideas into India, looking at the religious history of the country from the fifth Century BC through to the 16th Century AD at the February meeting of the Algarve Archaeological Association (AAA).
The first meeting will be held on February 2 at the Museu do Trajo in São Brás de Alportel at 2.30pm.
A second meeting will take place on the same day held at the Convento de São José in Lagoa, beginning at 6.30pm.
Michael Harris graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Modern History and has travelled extensively within India.
The talks are open to both members and non-members of the AAA and costs five euros for non-members.
