The Algarve Archaeological Association (AAA) is organising a five-day guided trip to Aveiro, known as the Venice of Portugal, from April 19 to 23.
The trip, by coach, will include four nights at the Moliceiro Hotel and visits to various places of cultural interest, such as the canals of Aveiro on a traditional Moliceiro boat, the cathedral, the Vista Alegre museum and factory, the Bairrada wine museum, the monasteries of Lorvão and Arouca and the prehistoric dolmen of Chão Redondo.
Non-members are welcome. The cost of the trip is €470 which includes all travel, hotel accommodation, meals, all entrance fees and guides for the trip.
