It’s that beautiful time of year when almond trees start to blossom and cover the Algarve’s landscape in white and pink, and cultural association Odiana is inviting everyone to experience it with a walk along one of the Lower Guadiana’s trails.
Odiana says Castro Marim’s 11-kilometre ‘Almond Path’ is lined with blossoming almond trees, and that the Lower Guadiana area (Alcoutim, Vila Real de Santo António and Castro Marim) has many other trails in which people can enjoy “one of the Algarve’s most beautiful natural spectacles”.
